Extreme Makeover: Me Edition

No, I didn't work out again this week, unless you count barely bouncing on the trampoline for 20 minutes trying to get my kids excited. I also did some arm curls while shoving puffy cheetos in my face hole. Yes, multitasking.

Amber's EMME question of the week is:
Name your guilty pleasure. Think of a healthier choice you could use as a substitute.

I can actually answer this question because it deals with food. Yum!

I love, love, love salty chips. I substitute with baked lays and sometimes sun chips, but nothing satisfies like regular 'leaves a grease mark on a napkin' Lays.

I also like drumstick ice cream cones. A whole days fat in one convenient package! I SHOULD be eating the double churned strawberry ice cream that I love in my freezer, but I'll get it as soon as I get my bread from yesterday...

Hey, well you're here telling us how you did and you're not hiding, so that's a good thing. Give yourself credit for getting on the trampoline, even if it was just once. :)

I chuckled at your blog description - "preferably shower more." I used to wonder how on earth anyone could go without a shower, and now that I'm a busy mom of 4, I totally understand. Back in the days before running water, people only got baths a couple times a year, and somehow they managed. :)

Good luck!

Trampoline...man that sounds fun. Way better than that psychopath...oops, I mean fitness guru...Jillian and her shredding video.

Now, I'm hungry for a drumstick ice cream cone. 9 a.m. Hmmm, it's not too early ;)

Ooooh, Drumsticks . . . yummy! And to think I just commented that ice cream wasn't a favorite of mine. I had forgotten about the Drumsticks. Trampoline-jumping sounds like a great form of exercise to me! :)

My kid loves those Drumstick cones too and guess who ends up eating them when I buy them for her? Uh, why is my butt so big? HELLO!

Chips are my downfall. I don't buy them unless we're having a party. Or I buy a kind I don't like (there aren't many)!

Drumsticks are soooo good too. See THIS is why I have trouble losing weight. I love food too much!!

Much love from NJ,

There definitely is no substitute for greasy Lays potato chips!

I wish I had a trampoline to exercise on!

I don't love ice cream, but I actually think drumsticks are fabulous!

Good luck this coming week...things will get better!

I love Drumsticks too. I usually try to share one with my sweetie so we can spread the fat around. They are so delicious! I've seen a lower-fat version but haven't tried it yet ~ have you?

Hope you have a great weekend!

I disagree with Amber, all those miniversions make me feel ripped off b/c you pay as much for less. Then you have to eat twice as much to become satisfied!! WTG on the trampoline, more activity than what I had this week.
